Super simple, budget-friendly, and packed with nutrition.Whether you're vegetarian, looking for easy weeknight dinners, or just craving a taste of home — this recipe has you covered.<br /><br />Ingredients :<br /><br />-Chana Daal 1 cup ( Split Chickpeas lentil ) soaked for 1 hour<br />-Pani 2 cups ( Water )<br />-Cooking oil 1/3 cup<br />-Pyaz 1 cup ( onion Sliced )<br />-Zeera 1 tsp ( Cumin seeds)<br />-Choti Elaichi 3 -4 ( Green Cardamom )<br />-Bari Elaichi 2 -3 ( Black Cardamom)<br />-Laung 4 -6 ( cloves )<br />-Hari Mirch 2 -3 tbsp ( Green Chilies )<br />-Adrak , Lehsun Chopped 1 tbsp ( Ginger , garlic )<br />-Dhania powder 2 tsp ( Coriander Powder )<br />-Kashmiri Lal Mirch 1/2 tsp ( Kashmiri Red chili Powder )<br />-Bhuna Zeera Powder 1 + 1/2 Tsp ( Roasted Cumin Powder )<br />-Lal Mirch Powder 1 tsp ( Red chili Powder ) or as per taste<br />-Haldi Powder 1/2 tsp ( Turmeric powder )<br />-Namak 1 tsp ( Salt ) or as per taste<br />-Tamatar paste 1/2 cup ( Tomato Paste)<br />-Kaddu 1/2 kg chopped ( Bottle gourd )<br />-Chicken Cube 1 <br />-Imli Ka pulp ( tamarind Pulp )<br />-Mint Leaves 2 -3 tbsp ( Podina )<br />-Kali Mirch 1 tsp ( Black pepper powder )<br />-Garam masala 1 tsp<br />-Hari Mirch 3 -4 ( Green Chilies )<br />-Hara Dhania chopped 1/2 cup ( Fresh coriander )<br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br />Direction For Cooking :<br /><br />-Take a wok add soaked chana daal add some water and bring it to boil then remove the scum , cover and cook until daal is almost 80 % cooked.<br />-Strain the water don 't through the water of daal and set aside.<br />-Take a blender jar add chopped 3 -4 tomatoes and make a smooth paste then set aside.<br />-Take another wok add oil and heat the oil then add slice onion , cook until translucent .<br />-Add cumin seeds , green cardamom , black cardamom , cloves , chopped green chilies , ginger , garlic chopped cook for 2 -3 mins on low flame.<br />-Add Coriander powder , kashmiri Red chili powder , red chili powder , roasted cumin powder , turmeric powder , salt and cook for 2 -3 mins on low flame.<br />-Add tomato paste and cook until oil separates .<br />-Add chopped bottle gourd ( Kaddu ) , cook for 5 -7 mins on medium flame.<br />-Add water if required.<br />-Add cooked chana daal and cook for 2 -4 mins on medium flame.<br />-Add imli ka pulp ( tamarind pulp ) , chicken cube mix it well and cook for 2 -3 mins.<br />-Add Chana daal water as requried , add mint leaves mix it well.<br />-Cover & cook for 15 -18 mins on low flame until fully done.<br />-Add black pepper powder , garam masala , green chilies , fresh coriander chopped mix it well.<br />-Cover & simmer for 2 -3 mins on low flame.<br />-Take a serving dish add chopped fresh coriander and serve with roti , or boiled rice.<br /><br /><br />Subscribe for more delicious recipes<br /><br />@SpiceBitebysara<br />MUSIC BY AUDIO BEATS<br /><br />#KadduDaal #PumpkinDal #DesiFood #LentilRecipe #ComfortFood #HomeCooking #vegetarianrecipes #spicebitebysara
